Desquamation of the skin
Your skin will naturally flake off with the Fraxel laser as the treated skin sheds the dead tissue. The flaking can be compared to that of a mild sunburn, but without the associated pain. The use of a moisturiser can alleviate this flaking.
Sun protection of the skin
During the post-treatment phase, you should use a sun cream at least twice a day to protect your skin from sun damage. A moisturiser with sun protection factor +30 is suitable for this. Wearing a sun hat is also recommended. In the following months, your body naturally renews the deeper skin tissue touched by the laser treatment.
