How does the carboxy mask work?

This dermatological procedure offers the advantages of a Carboxy therapy without needles.
The special Carboxy CO₂ gel mask consists of the gel and a fleece mask containing carbon dioxide. So that the carboxy mask can develop its effect optimally, the face is first treated by the dermatologist with the Laser prepared. The carboxy gel is then applied and the mask is placed over it, where it is left for 10 to 15 minutes, pressed firmly in place. When the mask comes into contact with the gel, CO₂ gas is generated. This is transferred to the skin, where it is absorbed. The mask serves as an 'activator' of the CO₂ gel, so to speak.

This efficient system for transferring CO₂ to the facial skin causes oxygen (O₂) to be transferred from the blood cells to the skin tissue, which leads to vasodilatation and increases protein synthesis. More oxygen in the tissue, has an expelling effect, thus preventing fluid build-up between the cells. The carbon dioxide mechanically eliminates the fat cells, at the same time the metabolism and the lymph flow are activated. The regeneration of the cells begins. In addition, the synthesis of collagen and elastin takes place in special skin cells, the fibroblasts, which improves the elasticity of the skin.

This exceptional mask therefore offers a simple and quick way to rejuvenate the skin.

The mask is recommended for refining and tightening the skin of the face. It can also be used successfully on other parts of the body, such as the arms, legs and abdomen.

Is the treatment unpleasant?

No. The vasodilatation caused by the CO₂ gas only causes a slight feeling of warmth on the treated skin.

The difference to classical carboxy therapy:

In classic carboxytherapy, CO₂ is introduced subcutaneously into the skin via a small needle, from where it spreads over a large area into the surrounding tissue. This method is very successful for circulatory disorders of the legs, ScarsThe treatment can be used to treat skin problems, saddle bags or after thromboses, as well as psoriasis or circular hair loss. The treatment with the carboxy-gel mask does not require needles.
